Les moines d'Aubrac possédaient à Bonnefon des terres et des greniers qui étaient souvent pillés par des brigands. Pour les défendre, ils construisirent au 15e siècle cette tour. History
The monks of Aubrac possessed at Bonnefon lands and granaries which were often pillaged by brigands. To defend them, they built in the 15th century this tower. The building comprises a ground floor and four storeys connected by a spiral staircase. The defensive system consists of loopholes and glacis in the lower part.
