Historique
Grange fortifiée dépendant de l'abbaye cistercienne de Bonneval. Sa construction s'est faite en trois campagnes, entre 1371 et le milieu du 15e siècle. Elle possède un donjon (tour-grenier) bâti à partir de 1371 (au deuxième étage se trouve la chambre dite de l'Abbé avec un décor peint formé de sarments de vignes). La grange monastique des Galinières possède, comme tous les établissements de ce type, une série de bâtiments et équipements annexes liés à l'usage agricole : terre, granges, fontaines, bergerie, maisons pour le personnel... L'ancien logis du garde-bois est situé dans la basse-cour, adossé à l'ancienne fortification et flanque l'ancienne porte d'accès à la cour ; il conserve une porte en arc brisé, une fenêtre gothique et des baies à coussièges. La bergerie est un beau bâtiment à arcs diaphragmes, un des plus anciens du pays. L'aire de battage est datée de la fin du 16e ou du début du 17e siècle.

History
Fortified barn belonging to the Cistercian abbey of Bonneval. Its construction was carried out in three campaigns, between 1371 and the mid-15th century. It possesses a keep (tower-granary) built from 1371 onwards (on the second floor is found the room called the Abbot's Chamber with painted decoration formed of vine shoots). The monastic barn of the Galinières possesses, like all establishments of this type, a series of buildings and annexes related to agricultural use: land, barns, fountains, sheepfold, houses for staff... The old lodge of the timber-keeper is situated in the lower court, backed against the old fortification and flanks the old entrance gate to the court; it preserves a pointed arch door, a Gothic window and bays with cushioned sills. The sheepfold is a fine building with diaphragm arches, one of the oldest in the country. The threshing floor is dated to the late 16th or early 17th century.
