L'église dépendait d'un ancien monastère de Bénédictins relevant de l'abbaye de Saint-Victor de Marseille. L'ensemble de l'édifice paraît remonter au 12e siècle. Trois nefs avec transept aboutissent à une abside polygonale voûtée en cul de four. Coupole à la croisée du transept. Cette partie était autrefois couronnée par une tour octogonale à plusieurs étages aujourd'hui détruite. Au 15e siècle, construction d'une chapelle contre la face du transept sud. History
The church depended on an ancient monastery of Benedictines falling under the abbey of Saint-Victor de Marseille. The whole of the building appears to date from the 12th century.
