History
This church is part of a group of churches of Spanish colonial influence, built in the valleys of the Saint-Gironnais in the 18th century. This façade was added at that time to an old fortified church, after enlargement. The façade consists of a plain wall, framed by two corner buttresses. It terminates at the upper part in a curvilinear pediment of baroque form, framed by small bell turrets. The church door and its frame, also baroque, constitute the architectural motif at the centre of the façade. The various motifs are in ashlar stone.
