La fontaine est un ensemble constitué par trois parties. Au fond, une niche carrée taillée dans le rocher capte les eaux qu'elle envoie dans un bassin rectangulaire abrité par une salle. La voûte est surbaissée et tout autour de ce nymphée existe un banc de pierre. Plaqué en avant comme un frontispice, un portail en ogive du 14e siècle à trois rangs d'archivoltes. Ce portail provient sans doute d'une église de Mirepoix et aurait été remonté à cet endroit.

History
The fountain is an ensemble constituted by three parts. At the back, a square niche cut into the rock collects the waters which it sends into a rectangular basin sheltered by a hall. The vault is depressed and all around this nymphaeum exists a stone bench. Placed in front like a frontispiece, a pointed arch portal of the 14th century with three rows of archivolts. This portal probably comes from a church in Mirepoix and would have been re-erected at this location.
