Historique
Edifice de la fin du 16e siècle, vraisemblablement dû à Pierre de Beral, chirurgien attaché à Henri IV. Cette demeure se présente comme un quadrilatère à deux niveaux sur caves et un vaste comble. Intérieurement se développe un escalier de pierre voûté, de dix marches par volées, atteignant les combles. Chaque étage est divisé en quatre pièces aux vastes cheminées. Ces pièces se recouvertes de boiseries. A l'étage, ces boiseries forment cloisons et délimitent des alcoves. Les plafonds à la française sont de bois mouluré. La maison a été agrandie à son extrémité nord-ouest en 1763 par une aile à usage de communs. A la fin du 18e siècle, la maison est cédée par les Beral au chanoine de Sauret de Chaylus.

History
Building from the end of the 16th century, presumably due to Pierre de Beral, surgeon attached to Henri IV. This dwelling presents itself as a quadrilateral with two levels over cellars and a vast roof space. Internally there develops a vaulted stone staircase, of ten steps per flight, reaching the roof space. Each storey is divided into four rooms with vast fireplaces. These rooms are covered with wainscoting. On the upper storey, this wainscoting forms partitions and delimits alcoves. The French ceilings are of moulded wood. The house was enlarged at its north-western end in 1763 by a wing for use as outbuildings. At the end of the 18th century, the house was ceded by the Beral to the canon de Sauret de Chaylus.
