Historique
De l'église romane, ou du début du 13e siècle, il ne reste que peu de vestiges, l'édifice ayant été entièrement reconstruit à la période gothique, fait rare en Auvergne. L'édifice se compose d'une nef (14e siècle) de deux travées dont la deuxième est flanquée de chapelles latérales (15e siècle) , et d'un choeur pentagonal (fin de l'époque romane). Un arc brisé à double rouleau sépare la nef du choeur. Il est reçu sur des colonnes engagées sur dosserets par l'intermédiaire de chapiteaux de style roman, avec des réminiscence wisigothique (face humaine entourée de feuillages). Le clocher-peigne a été refait au début du 19e siècle.

History
Of the Romanesque church, or of the beginning of the 13th century, little remains, the building having been entirely rebuilt in the Gothic period, a rare occurrence in Auvergne. The building consists of a nave (14th century) of two bays of which the second is flanked by lateral chapels (15th century), and a pentagonal choir (end of the Romanesque period). A double-roll broken arch separates the nave from the choir. It rests on engaged columns on dosserets by means of Romanesque capitals, with Visigothic reminiscences (human face surrounded by foliage). The porch tower was remade at the beginning of the 19th century.
