Ce château peut dater du 13e siècle et fait partie d'un réseau de fortifications établi dans tout le pays. History
This château may date from the 13th century and is part of a network of fortifications established throughout the country. It is a rectangle flanked by four corner towers, the largest of which is partly collapsed. The towers must have lost their machicolations and crenellations at the Revolution. Access to the château is by way of a staircase to a door surmounted by an escutcheon bearing three rooks of a chessboard, crested with a mutilated crown framed by palms, no doubt placed in heraldic abatement in the late 17th century. From there, a spiral staircase serves the floors. The lower part of the towers is vaulted with a hemispherical dome. The ground floor of the main dwelling is vaulted on a rib vault.
