En 1540 l'église est saccagée par les guerres de Religion. L'édifice actuel remonte au 16e siècle et ne semble pas avoir subi de modifications depuis. La sacristie a été aménagée dans les vestiges du logis abbatial sous la Monarchie de Juillet. En 1872, réfection de la toiture qui gagne une pente plus accentuée ; peinture de l'intérieur. History
In 1540 the church is ransacked by the Wars of Religion. The present building dates from the 16th century and does not appear to have undergone any modifications since. The sacristy was fitted out in the remains of the abbatial residence under the July Monarchy. In 1872, the roof was repaired with a steeper slope; the interior was painted. In 1905, the bell tower was repaired. In 1935, the interior was entirely repainted. A stone staircase reaches the bell tower wall to rise up to the parapet of the belfry supported by corbels with triple steps. The four sound-holes, with round arch moulding, contain four bells predating the Revolution (1491, 1511, 1607 and 1683), a unique fact in the Cantal.
