Historique
Château du début du 17e siècle, agrandi en 1812 (aile est, porte ouest, remises sud), entouré de diverses dépendances. L'édifice est précédé d'une cour d'honneur autour de laquelle s'articulent communs, chapelle (1720) et pigeonnier. Le château se compose d'un corps de logis quadrangulaire flanqué par des tourelles carrées coiffées de toits à l'impériale amortis par des lanternons polygonaux. Dans la tourelle nord, un escalier en vis est le vestige du logis primitif, peut-être du 16e siècle. La façade postérieure donne sur un jardin à la française en terrasse. Au nord s'étend un verger enclos de murs. Au nord de l'étang se trouve un pavillon en pans de bois, datant du 15e ou du 16e siècle. Type de gentilhommière du Bourbonnais.

History
Château of the early 17th century, enlarged in 1812 (east wing, west door, south outbuildings), surrounded by various outbuildings. The building is preceded by a courtyard of honour around which are articulated outhouses, chapel (1720) and dovecot. The château consists of a quadrangular main dwelling flanked by square towers capped with imperial roofs finished by polygonal lanterns. In the north tower, a spiral staircase is a vestige of the primitive dwelling, perhaps from the 16th century. The rear façade overlooks a formal garden in terraces. To the north extends an orchard enclosed by walls. North of the pond is found a timber-framed pavilion, dating from the 15th or 16th century. Type of Bourbonnais country house.
