Gentilhomme de la fin du 16e siècle, le château présente un corps de logis rectangulaire flanqué, côté ouest, de deux tours rondes, et accompagné d'un bâtiment de communs et d'un pigeonnier. Le commun consiste en un corps de bâtiment rectangulaire avec une tour d'angle nord-ouest et une autre à l'angle sud-est. Le toit est typiquement bourbonnais, à quatre pans très élevés couverts de tuiles plates.

History
A gentleman's house from the late 16th century, the castle presents a rectangular main dwelling flanked, on the western side, by two round towers, and accompanied by an outbuilding and a dovecote. The outbuilding consists of a rectangular body of building with a north-west corner tower and another at the south-east corner. The roof is typically Bourbonnais, with four very high hipped sides covered with flat tiles.
