Historique
Demeure de la fin du 16e siècle, flanquée de tours, remaniée au 18e. Une aile est ajoutée au 19e siècle, détruite ensuite par un incendie. Le château actuel se présente comme un corps de bâtiment unique auquel a été ajouté un petit corps de bâtiment plus bas. Une tour carrée et une tour ronde marquent les extrémités sud-est et sud-ouest. Une autre tour ronde marque la limite entre le corps de bâtiment principal et le corps de bâtiment plus petit sur la façade est. Les maçonneries sont en briques polychromes rouges et bleues. A droite, se dresse une tour carrée, vestige de l'ancien donjon médiéval. A l'intérieur du château, un salon bibliothèque orné de boiseries a échappé à l'incendie. Ce château est un bon exemple de l'architecture civile bourbonnaise.

History
Dwelling of the late 16th century, flanked by towers, remodelled in the 18th. A wing was added in the 19th century, later destroyed by fire. The present château presents itself as a single body of building to which was added a smaller, lower body of building. A square tower and a round tower mark the south-east and south-west extremities. Another round tower marks the boundary between the main body of building and the smaller body of building on the east facade. The masonry is in polychrome bricks, red and blue. To the right stands a square tower, a remnant of the old medieval keep. Inside the château, a library salon decorated with woodwork escaped the fire. This château is a fine example of Bourbon civil architecture.
