History
Edifice typical of a bourgeois hotel of the 14th and 15th centuries, built for Jean Babute, master of household of the duke Louis II of Bourbon. The façade on the street comprises, on the ground floor, the large moulded opening of the covered passage; on the first floor, three windows above a string course that steps back beneath their sills. In the roof, two slender dormers. On the interior courtyard, staircase and remains of a timber-framed gallery.
