Example of Romanesque architecture of the Bourbonnais. Building formed of a long nave of six bays, flanked by aisles and terminated by a hemicyclic apse. A first building campaign comprises the nave and aisles from the third bay onwards, as well as the choir. A second building campaign saw the construction of the first western bays of the nave and aisles, the bell tower and the portal. Late 15th - early 16th century, construction of the lateral chapels. The central nave, blind, is covered with a broken barrel vault borne on a horizontal string course. The cruciform-plan piers separating the nave from the collaterals receive the great lateral arcades in round arch, except on the first two bays where they are pointed. The collaterals are covered with a barrel vault in round arch supported, at each bay division, by a round-arch double arch. The chapels are covered with a rib vault with formerets; the vault keys are heraldic. The apse is covered with a cul-de-four. On the west facade, the Romanesque portal has a plain tympanum and four round-arch voussures bearing on jambs fitted with four colonnettes, one of which is prismatic, and a fluted pilaster on the outside. The square bell tower, placed on the first western bay, has two storeys and is crowned by an octagonal stone spire.
