Historique
Eglise romane à une nef et deux bas-côtés voûtés en quart de cercle, ayant remplacé une église primitive mentionnée dans les documents du 10e siècle et qui dépendait de Cluny. L'édifice primitif devait se limiter aux trois premières travées, continuées au 12e siècle par deux autres, dont une formant transept, et les trois absides. Les piliers des deux travées avoisinant le choeur sont cantonnés de colonnes engagées dont les bases sont pourvues de griffes. L'ornementation des chapiteaux comprend des personnages, des guerriers mêlés à une flore et à une faune fantastiques (griffons buvant dans un calice...). Le porche et le clocher, qui menaçaient ruine, ont été démolis au début du 20e siècle.

History
Romanesque church with one nave and two aisles vaulted in quarter circle, which replaced an earlier church mentioned in documents from the 10th century and which was dependent on Cluny. The primitive building must have been limited to the first three bays, continued in the 12th century by two others, one forming the transept, and the three apses. The pillars of the two bays adjoining the choir are flanked by engaged columns whose bases are provided with claws. The ornamentation of the capitals comprises figures, warriors mingled with fantastic flora and fauna (griffins drinking from a chalice...). The porch and bell tower, which threatened ruin, were demolished at the beginning of the 20th century.
