Immeuble typique de l'architecture bourbonnaise du 18e siècle, notammant dans l'appareil décoratif de la brique des façades sur rues, la haute toiture de petites tuiles plates animée par de grandes cheminées et les proportions générales. La construction date de 1754. Dans la cour, présence d'une bâtisse désignée au 17e siècle sous le nom de "maison Fournier", construite en 1473. L'appellation "Grosse maison" sous laquelle est désignée l'immeuble, marque sa prééminence sur l'ensemble des maisons du bourg. Le bâtiment d'habitation, de plan rectangulaire, ne comporte qu'un rez-de-chaussée surélevé. Chaque façade principale est percée d'une porte précédée d'un perron, de chaque côté de laquelle s'ouvrent trois fenêtres. Ces ouvertures ont un encadrement en bandeau et un linteau en arc surbaissé avec clef saillante. Les façades possèdent un appareil décoratif losangé en briques roses et brunes. Les porches donnant sur le jardin, les lucarnes et leurs volets datent de 1921. Les autres volets sont d'époque. De même type que l'habitation, le bâtiment des communs s'étend dans son prolongement.

History
Building typical of 18th century Bourbonnais architecture, particularly in the decorative arrangement of brickwork on the street façades, the high roof of small flat tiles animated by large chimneys and the general proportions. Construction dates to 1754. In the courtyard, the presence of a building designated in the 17th century under the name "maison Fournier", constructed in 1473. The name "Grosse maison" under which the building is designated, marks its pre-eminence over all the houses in the village. The residential building, of rectangular plan, has only a raised ground floor. Each main façade is pierced by a door preceded by a perron, on each side of which open three windows. These openings have a band frame and a lintel in a depressed arch with projecting keystone. The façades have a diamond-patterned decorative arrangement in pink and brown bricks. The porches opening onto the garden, the dormers and their shutters date to 1921. The other shutters are of the period. Of the same type as the dwelling, the outbuilding extends in its continuation.
