Historique
Ancienne chapelle seigneuriale du château du Breuil. Edifice à une nef et deux collatéraux de trois travées, une abside et deux absidioles. Les maçonneries et les colonnes semblent dater du milieu du 12e siècle. La disposition des chapiteaux de l'absidiole centrale indique que le plan primitif prévoyait une nef couverte de voûtes. La façade ouest a été presque entièrement reconstruite, du moins les parements extérieurs composés d'assises alternées de pierres blanches et rouges. Sans clocher, les cloches étaient suspendues dans de simples arcades surmontant le pignon. Le tombeau d'une dame du Breuil, datant du 14e siècle, est placé dans une petite chapelle. History
Former seigneurial chapel of the castle of Breuil. Building with one nave and two aisles of three bays, an apse and two absidioles. The masonry and columns appear to date from the mid-12th century. The arrangement of the capitals of the central absidiole indicates that the primitive plan provided for a nave covered with vaults. The west façade has been almost entirely rebuilt, at least the external facings composed of alternating courses of white and red stone. Without a bell tower, the bells were suspended in simple arcades surmounting the gable. The tomb of a lady of Breuil, dating from the 14th century, is placed in a small chapel. Formerly buried in the ground, the monument was reassembled in the early 20th century.
