Historique
Eglise du 15e siècle qui dépendait de l'abbaye de Tournus avant 1120. Du fait de cette appartenance ancienne, l'église primitive dut être détruite puis reconstruite au 15e siècle. L'édifice présente une nef à trois travées voûtées en berceau brisé. Abside pentagonale sur les deux faces, sous ogives et clef de voûte, fenêtres à doubles ébrasements. Chapelles latérales formant transept. Façade, conçue selon la formule souvent retrouvée en Haute-Loire à l'époque romane, puis répétée aux 15e et 16e siècle. Un oculus domine le vaste porche dont le large ébrasement constitue la principale décoration, avec voussures successives de sept archivoltes sur colonnettes. Clocher-porche aux trois arcatures campanaires. Sous l'auvent postérieur du clocher, cloche du 15e siècle avec inscriptions et estampages gothiques.

History
Church of the 15th century which was dependent on the abbey of Tournus before 1120. Due to this ancient affiliation, the primitive church must have been destroyed and then rebuilt in the 15th century. The building presents a nave of three bays vaulted with a broken barrel vault. Pentagonal apse on two faces, with rib vault and vault key, windows with double splays. Lateral chapels forming a transept. Facade, designed according to the formula often found in Haute-Loire in the Romanesque period, then repeated in the 15th and 16th centuries. An oculus dominates the vast porch whose wide splay constitutes the principal decoration, with successive voussures of seven archivolts on small columns. Porch tower with three bell openings. Beneath the rear awning of the bell tower, 15th-century bell with inscriptions and Gothic stampings.
