History
The church was a priory of La Chaise-Dieu and had, in 1299, rights of justice. The present building is of Romanesque structure, the interior of the nave and the bell tower having been transformed in the 19th century. The western façade still contains interesting architectural elements (round-arch relieving arch with archivolt, sloping lintel) incorporated into a contemporary porch.
