Le couvent des religieuses de Saint-François est formé par la réunion d'anciens hôtels : l'hôtel de Luzy et celui de Girardin, datant partiellement du début du 17e siècle. L'ancien hôtel de Girardin affecte la forme d'un vaste rectangle dont la face sud-ouest supporte la tourelle d'escalier. History
The convent of the nuns of Saint-François is formed by the joining of former townhouses: the hôtel de Luzy and that of Girardin, dating partially from the beginning of the 17th century. The former hôtel de Girardin takes the form of a vast rectangle whose south-west face supports the staircase turret. At the far end of the interior courtyard, which opens onto the street through a large carriage gate with a depressed arch with triple voussoirs, a gallery connects the main building to an archive cabinet under groin vaults. On the north face, this gallery with wooden balustrade is carried by a shell vault in the manner of corbels in strong relief. The east face presents a groin vault and basket-handle arches resting on a pillar ornamented, as a capital, with a shell. The door of the tower has a moulded frame ornamented at its centre with a mask. Foliage scrolls separate the door from the entablature with modillions and drops which carries a circular pediment axed on the door frame which the entablature overlaps. The hôtel de Luzy is distinguished especially by its polygonal staircase tower, like the previous one, but announcing by its accolade door with numerous mouldings, the beginning of the 16th century. Galleries with very taut arches and currently glazed, connected the two building sections.
