La fondation de la fontaine remonte au 13e siècle. Partiellement détruite au 18e siècle, elle a été remplacée par l'édicule actuel de style baroque. Seul le socle pourrait dater du 13e siècle. Ouvrage en pierre de Blavozy, composé d'une vasque sur plan carré avec le milieu des faces godronné et renflé. Quatre animaux, deux dauphins et deux aigles, crachent l'eau dans la vasque, la tête des aigles étant en bronze.

History
The foundation of the fountain dates back to the 13th century. Partially destroyed in the 18th century, it was replaced by the current baroque edifice. Only the base could date from the 13th century. Work in Blavozy stone, composed of a basin on a square plan with the centre of the faces fluted and swollen. Four animals, two dolphins and two eagles, spout water into the basin, the eagles' heads being in bronze.
