Historique
Construite au 17e ou 18e siècle, la ferme est la seule de la localité qui ait conservé ce mode de couverture, très fréquent autrefois dans la région, et typique des fermes du Mézenc. Elle se compose d'un long corps de bâtiment à deux niveaux, flanqué en ses extrémités de deux appentis. L'habitation vient s'y greffer en retour d'équerre. L'ensemble est complété par deux constructions annexes : le bûcher et la remise. L'ensemble est couvert de chaume, à l'exception de l'habitation, d'un appentis à l'est, et de la porcherie. L'ensemble est clos d'un muret en pierre sèche. A l'intérieur, les dispositions d'origine et une partie du mobilier ont été conservées. Cette ferme peut être considérée comme le meilleur exemple encore intact de cette architecture rurale.

History
Built in the 17th or 18th century, the farm is the only one in the locality which has preserved this mode of roofing, very frequent formerly in the region, and typical of farms of the Mézenc. It comprises a long building body on two levels, flanked at its extremities by two lean-tos. The dwelling attaches to it in a right-angled return. The whole is completed by two ancillary constructions: the woodshed and the storage shed. The whole is covered with thatch, with the exception of the dwelling, a lean-to to the east, and the pigsty. The whole is enclosed by a dry stone wall. Inside, the original arrangements and part of the furnishings have been preserved. This farm may be considered as the finest still intact example of this rural architecture.
