Convent buildings in hemicycle of the 18th century, dominated by the church and encircled by the rest of the old medieval fortifications of the abbey. The priory, dependent on Cluny, dates from the 11th century. The church was rebuilt in the middle of the 15th century, as were the fortifications to the north. The original plan of the priory is dated 1779 and signed by Antoine Deval. The unfinished part of the west wing was filled in during the 19th century by a building serving as town hall. Most of the layout was preserved: the barrel vaulted cellars, the prior's chamber, the corridors. The prior's chamber retained its 18th-century décor: ceiling, fireplace with moulded trumeau with stucco, woodwork, alcove closed by a partition and doors.
