History
Small military construction altered in the 15th and 16th centuries but which must have earlier origins. This fortified house was built after the Hundred Years War, against the English and Routiers who ravaged the region. The plan presents a square body of building flanked by a massive tower serving as staircase, protection and watch-tower, itself protected at the angles by bretèches with machicolations. Preserved around the keep and the turret is a series of small bastions. This building is characteristic of the regional fortified houses of the 15th and 16th centuries.
