L'emplacement de cet hôtel fut occupé, dès le 14e siècle, par une maison d'un chanoine-comte. De cette période pourrait dater un chambranle de porte orné de bessants, au fond de la cour intérieure. Cette cour desservait l'ensemble des constructions situées aujourd'hui aux numéros 6 et 8, composées d'un corps de bâtiment sur rue, d'une cour intérieure centrale et d'une aile sur jardin. Un fractionnement en deux propriétés coupa la cour en deux. Trois galeries à balustrades de bois sont ouvertes sur l'élévation ouest de la cour. Le troisième niveau était garni à l'origine de panneaux à plis de serviettes. Cette cage d'escalier à loggias présente une structure mixte bois-pierre peu représentée par des exemples bien conservés dans la région. L'hôtel actuel avec son escalier existait déjà en 1720. Au milieu du 18e siècle, aménagement d'un parquet dans le salon du premier étage. A cette époque fut également installé le double vantail de la porte cochère.

History
The location of this hotel was occupied, from the 14th century, by the house of a canon-count. From this period could date a door frame decorated with bezants, at the back of the inner courtyard. This courtyard served the whole of the buildings now located at numbers 6 and 8, composed of a building on the street, a central inner courtyard and a wing on the garden. A division into two properties cut the courtyard in two. Three galleries with wooden balustrades open on the west elevation of the courtyard. The third level was originally furnished with panels with serviette folds. This staircase cage with loggias presents a mixed wood-stone structure poorly represented by well-preserved examples in the region. The present hotel with its staircase already existed in 1720. In the mid-18th century, fitting out of a parquet floor in the first floor salon. At this period was also installed the double-leaf of the carriage gate.
