History
The interior of this church is an excellent example of a small church of Velay. The nave decorated with arcading, the transept crossing with its vault on pendentives and the apse are good examples of Romanesque architecture. As is the sculptural decoration. The quarter-dome of the apse was decorated with frescoes discovered in 1870, and immediately whitewashed over. According to descriptions that were made of them by the priest at the time, these paintings could date from the Romanesque period.
