Historique
Immeuble du 16e siècle dont la façade et le décor des étages ont été refaits en 1731 selon une inscription. Le dessus de porte en ferronnerie, à l'entrée, est ornée de la croix à double croisillon du chapitre cathédrale qui possédait une partie de ce quartier. Sans doute La maison lui appartenait-elle. La façade remodelée au 18e est plaquée sur un bâti plus ancien formant retour sur une cour intérieure. Un escalier en vis sur cour dessert tous les nivaux. Un escalier à volées droites et mur noyau fut créé au 18e siècle. La façade vaut par la qualité de la ferronnerie qui surmonte la troisième porte, ornée de volutes agrafées et de pistils symétriques. History
Building from the 16th century whose façade and decoration of the storeys were remade in 1731 according to an inscription. The door lintel in ironwork, at the entrance, is decorated with the double-barred cross of the cathedral chapter which owned part of this district. Doubtless the house belonged to it. The façade remodelled in the 18th century is applied over older building forming a return onto an interior courtyard. A spiral staircase on the courtyard serves all the levels. A staircase with straight flights and a core wall was created in the 18th century. The façade is noteworthy for the quality of the ironwork which surmounts the third door, decorated with clasped volutes and symmetrical stamens. The central motif is a key surrounded by a vine branch inscribed in an oval motif, surmounted by the double-barred cross of the Clermont chapter.
