La justice de Lafond, dont dépendait la terre de Vensat, appartenait aux De Murat depuis 1593. Elle passa par achat, à la fin du 17e siècle, aux Veyny d'Arbouze, qui la conservèrent jusqu'à la Révolution. The justice of Lafond, on which the land of Vensat depended, belonged to the De Murat from 1593. It passed by purchase, at the end of the 17th century, to the Veyny d'Arbouze, who retained it until the Revolution. It is not impossible that the planting of this boundary stone was subsequent to the purchase of Lafont by Jacques de Veyny d'Arbouze.
