Construction de 1766, d'une architecture typique du 18e siècle dans cette ville. La façade principale est régulièrement percée de baies rectangulaires à encadrement en pierres de Volvic, dont le linteau figure un arc surbaissé. Les fenêtres et la porte s'agrémentent de ferronnerie caractéristiques de l'artisanat auvergnat. Cour intérieure à galerie ouverte d'où part un escalier en pierre orné d'une rampe en fer forgé. La cour est ornée d'un bas-relief du 16e siècle situé sous un arc surbaissé. Il s'agit vraisemblablement d'un linteau de cheminée remployé. Au centre est représentée la Vierge de Pitié tenant sur ses genoux le Christ mort dont un ange soutient la tête. Une femme est agenouillée, portant un vase. A droite de ce groupe sont représentés deux personnages debout : un guerrier appuyé contre un écu, et un autre personnage vêtu d'une bande d'étoffe nouée à la ceinture et dont les mains sont liées derrière le dos. A gauche se tiennent également deux autres personnages : un abbé tenant la crosse de la main droite et recevant de la gauche un objet que lui tend un ange ; et un second personnage les pieds plongés dans une bassine, les poings liés et les mains jointes.

History
Construction of 1766, of architecture typical of the 18th century in this town. The main façade is regularly pierced with rectangular openings with Volvic stone frames, whose lintel features a depressed arch. The windows and door are adorned with ironwork characteristic of Auvergnat craftsmanship. Interior courtyard with open gallery from which a stone staircase departs, ornamented with a wrought iron handrail. The courtyard is decorated with a 16th-century bas-relief situated under a depressed arch. This is probably a reused fireplace lintel. At the centre is represented the Virgin of Pity holding on her lap the dead Christ, whose head is supported by an angel. A woman is kneeling, carrying a vase. To the right of this group are represented two standing figures: a warrior leaning against a shield, and another figure dressed in a band of cloth tied at the waist and whose hands are bound behind his back. To the left are also two other figures: an abbot holding the pastoral staff in his right hand and receiving in his left an object offered to him by an angel; and a second figure with feet plunged in a basin, fists bound and hands joined.
