Ce beffroi est le dernier vestige d'une construction médiévale qui fut rasée par ordre de Richelieu en 1633, puis restaurée plus tard. C'est une tour carrée dont le toit est l'élément le plus intéressant. Sa forme rappelle celle d'un bulbe, mais il comporte quatre pans. Il est surmonté d'un lanternon en ferronnerie, et entouré d'un petit balcon carré. Le tout est surmonté d'une girouette.

History
This belfry is the last vestige of a medieval construction which was razed by order of Richelieu in 1633, then restored later. It is a square tower whose roof is the most interesting element. Its shape recalls that of a bulb, but it comprises four sides. It is topped by a lantern in ironwork, and surrounded by a small square balcony. All of this is surmounted by a weather vane.
