Château du 17e siècle, comportant des décors intérieurs des 17e et 18e siècles. Porterie du 17e siècle couverte d'un toit à l'impériale. L'ancien fief de Limons, qui comprenait Périgères, est mentionné dès 1276. Au 16e siècle, l'édifice se présentait comme une maison-forte qui se dressait au milieu des vestiges du château féodal, avec une construction comprenant une salle haute et une salle basse reliées par une tour d'escalier, avec dépendances et tour ruinée. History
Château of the 17th century, comprising interior decorations of the 17th and 18th centuries. Gate lodge of the 17th century covered with an imperial roof. The former fief of Limons, which included Périgères, is mentioned as early as 1276. In the 16th century, the building presented itself as a fortified house which stood in the midst of the vestiges of the feudal château, with a construction comprising a upper hall and a lower hall connected by a staircase tower, with dependencies and ruined tower. Around 1582, the château is enlarged, then comprising two blocks of buildings with several round and square towers, as well as a chapel. The work was continued in 1660. The gate lodge is dated 1686. A fire destroyed the northern part in 1740 or 1779. The southern extremity was profoundly remodelled in the 18th century, on a 17th-century base which subsists at the centre. To the north, several successive additions composed a disparate wing. Inside, the decoration bears principally the mark of the 19th century, except for the coffered or beam ceilings.
