Eglise consacrée en 1149. En 1147, Guillaume de Beaufort, seigneur de Beaufort et du château de Miremont, fit don au chapitre de la cathédrale de Clermont, à l'occasion de son départ en croisade, du droit qu'il avait sur la sacristie de cette église. Avant la Révolution, la nomination du curé appartenait au chapitre de la cathédrale de Clermont. £L'église comporte une nef de quatre travées flanquée de bas-côtés, un transept dont le carré s'ouvre sur une abside et chacun des croisillons sur une absidiole. L'abside est voûtée en cul-de-four. Un clocher carré surmonte le carré du transpet. Son étage est percé de fenêtres à deux formes surmontées d'un quadrilobe. Chaque face de ce clocher se termine en pignon.

History
Church consecrated in 1149. In 1147, William of Beaufort, lord of Beaufort and of the castle of Miremont, made a gift to the chapter of the cathedral of Clermont, on the occasion of his departure on crusade, of the right he held over the sacristy of this church. Before the Revolution, the appointment of the curate belonged to the chapter of the cathedral of Clermont. The church comprises a nave of four bays flanked by aisles, a transept whose crossing opens onto an apse and each of the transept arms onto an apsidiole. The apse is vaulted with a cul-de-four vault. A square bell tower surmounts the crossing of the transept. Its storey is pierced with windows of two shapes surmounted by a quadrilobe. Each face of this bell tower terminates in a gable.
