Historique
La croix est sculptée d'une étoile à trois branches sur une face, d'une étoile à cinq branches sur la face opposée. Les extrémités des bras sont arrondies en arc de cercle. Le montant se termine, à sa partie supérieure, par un fleuron à deux lobes symétriques de part et d'autre d'un pistil triangulaire terminal. Deux lobes font également saillie à la base de la croix, de part et d'autre de la partie supérieure du noeud. Chacune des faces nord-ouest et sud-est de cette croix est creusée en son centre d'une petite niche en plein cintre, à l'encadrement marqué d'une baguette. Autour de cette niche sont sculptées quatre étoiles à cinq branches, deux dans l'axe vertical du montant, les deux autres dans l'axe horizontal des bras. Ce décor est inscrit, sur chaque face, dans un cercle formé d'un câble posé en nimbe, ajouré dans les intervalles du montant et des bras.

History
The cross is sculpted with a three-pointed star on one face, a five-pointed star on the opposite face. The ends of the arms are rounded in an arc. The shaft terminates, at its upper part, in a finial with two lobes symmetrical on either side of a terminal triangular pistil. Two lobes also protrude at the base of the cross, on either side of the upper part of the knot. Each of the north-west and south-east faces of this cross is hollowed at its centre with a small niche in round arch, with the surround marked by a bead. Around this niche are sculpted four five-pointed stars, two in the vertical axis of the shaft, the other two in the horizontal axis of the arms. This decoration is inscribed, on each face, within a circle formed by a cable placed as a halo, pierced in the intervals of the shaft and the arms.
