Cette borne, qui porte à la base de chacune de ses deux faces la date de 1603, est l'une des trois bornes subsistant actuellement d'une suite établie en limite des justices du Crest et de Monton. De forme parallélépipédique, la face tournée vers le sud-ouest est sculptée de l'écu martelé des Beaufort-Canillac ; celle tournée vers le nord-est paraît avoir été bûchée mais la sculpture présentait également un écu. En 2011, le déplacement de la borne armoriée dite C, située au lieu-dit La Jonchère, vers un nouvel emplacement, puis les travaux d'élargissement des chaussées de l'autoroute A75 ont entraîné sa dépose définitive et remis en cause l'inscription à l'inventaire supplémentaire du 3 février 1964 de la borne.

History
This boundary stone, which bears at the base of each of its two faces the date of 1603, is one of three boundary stones currently surviving from a series established at the boundary of the jurisdictions of Crest and Monton. Of parallelepiped form, the face turned towards the south-west is carved with the defaced coat of arms of Beaufort-Canillac; that turned towards the north-east appears to have been axed but the carving likewise presented a coat of arms. In 2011, the displacement of the heraldic boundary stone called C, situated at the place called La Jonchère, to a new location, and then the works for widening the roadways of the A75 motorway led to its permanent removal and called into question the inscription on the supplementary inventory of 3 February 1964 of the boundary stone.
