Maison ayant probablement été édifiée au 15e siècle par un marchand tenant boutique au rez-de-chaussée, comme en témoigne une arcade en anse de panier, moulurée et à bases prismatiques. La partie supérieure en pan de bois servait de séchoir, selon un modèle autrefois très répandu dans le Livradois. La sablière porte six travées délimitées par des poteaux de remplissages et garnies d'entretoises et de décharges en croix-de-Saint-André sur deux niveaux. En bâtière, au-dessus de la lucarne éclairant les combles, un fronton triangulaire ajouré est orné de festons polylobés aux pointes ornées de trèfles. Cette maison a conservé l'essentiel de ses percements d'origine et présente une disposition assez répandue autrefois à Courpière : deux niveaux maçonnés et un étage à pan de bois.

History
House probably built in the 15th century by a merchant keeping a shop on the ground floor, as evidenced by a basket-handle arch, moulded and with prismatic bases. The upper timber-framed part served as a drying room, according to a model once very widespread in the Livradois. The sill carries six bays delimited by infill posts and furnished with bracing and diagonal bracing on two levels. In roof form, above the dormer lighting the roof space, an openwork triangular pediment is adorned with polylobed festoons with points decorated with trefoils. This house has retained the essential elements of its original openings and presents a layout once fairly widespread in Courpière: two rubble-stone levels and a timber-framed storey.
