Historique
Château accolé par les ducs de Bretagne aux remparts reconstruits aux 14e et 15e siècles (petit donjon en 1395, grand donjon en 1424, tour Générale en 1475, tour Qui-qu'en-grogne en 1498). Au 16e siècle, le château est intégré à la défense de la ville et est agrandi par la construction des tours des Dames et des Moulins. Au début du 17e siècle, édification du premier bastion de la Galère. En 1695, Louis XIV fait renforcé le château : les quatre tours sont arasées et couvertes d'une plate-forme pour l'installation de pièces d'artillerie. En 1696, construction de la chapelle. History
Castle adjoined by the Dukes of Brittany to the ramparts rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries (small keep in 1395, great keep in 1424, General Tower in 1475, Qui-qu'en-grogne Tower in 1498). In the 16th century, the castle is integrated into the defence of the town and is enlarged by the construction of the Towers of the Ladies and the Mills.
