Historique
Construit en 1631, l'hôtel présente un corps de bâtiment flanqué de deux pavillons non saillants d'inégale longueur. Le rez-de-chaussée est en granit et les étages supérieurs en pierre blanche. Le rez-de-chaussée est percé d'une porte cintrée accostée de deux pilastres à joints ouverts. Les fenêtres du premier étage sont entourées d'un appareil à refends et bossages encadrés par une plate bande à crossettes, les clés sont surmontées d'un fronton triangulaire. Celles du second sont couronnées de frontons l'un triangulaire, les autres arrondis, tous remplis de feuillage. L'ensemble est couronné d'une frise sculptée de têtes d'animaux alternant avec des fleurs, grappes de raisin et enroulements divers, ainsi que d'une corniche à modillons. Cet hôtel est l'un des rares exemples d'architecture baroque en Bretagne, et de l'influence italienne dans cette région.

History
Built in 1631, the hôtel presents a building body flanked by two non-projecting pavilions of unequal length. The ground floor is in granite and the upper storeys in white stone. The ground floor is pierced with a round-arched door flanked by two pilasters with open joints. The windows of the first storey are surrounded by bossed ashlar work framed by a band course with consoles, the keys are topped with a triangular pediment. Those of the second are crowned with pediments, one triangular, the others rounded, all filled with foliage. The whole is crowned with a frieze sculpted with animal heads alternating with flowers, bunches of grapes and various scrollwork, as well as a modillion cornice. This hôtel is one of the rare examples of Baroque architecture in Brittany, and of Italian influence in this region.
