Châtellerie ancienne qui exerçait un droit de haute justice. Le château s'appelait autrefois de Bois-Guillaume. Il existait un château médiéval remanié à la Renaissance, et détruit au 18e siècle, époque à laquelle il a été remplacé par le château actuel. Le château se présente comme un édifice rectangulaire comportant, au nord, un décrochement en avant-corps, et au sud deux ailerons latéraux en saillie. History
Ancient castellany which exercised a right of high justice. The castle was formerly called Bois-Guillaume. There existed a medieval castle remodelled in the Renaissance, and destroyed in the 18th century, a time when it was replaced by the present castle. The castle appears as a rectangular edifice comprising, to the north, a setback in a forward body, and to the south two lateral winglets in projection. The central body is set back and presents a central projection.
