History
The château was founded at the end of the 12th century by the lords of Tinténiac. Two towers, although subsequently modified, still remain from this construction. One of them has preserved remarkable warming rooms of the 14th century. The châtelet was rebuilt in the 15th century, as was the chapel adjoining it. After the abandonment of the defensive design in the 17th century, the present main dwelling, which extends between the towers and the châtelet, was built in the 18th century. It was partly rebuilt in the 19th century, after a fire.
