Historique

History
Around 1710, the building was considerably enlarged using materials from the dismantling of the château of Lohéac. The château, chapel, outbuildings and commons are surrounded by moats. The main body of the château terminates, at the two angles on the moat side, with a corner tower with loopholes and grilles. Towards the central court, it turns on the East side into a small simple wing, and on the west by a small pavilion. The door with fronton between classical pilasters opens onto an interior courtyard. Opposite, on the moat quay, the passage is in round arch. The great salon of the first floor possesses twelve frescoes of the 18th century, with biblical theme. The blue bedroom presents two painted wood panels of the 19th century, signed "Cavaille et Koll".
