Historique

History
The church dates from the 11th century, while the priory is of the 17th century, and the cloister of 1670. The remains of this cloister extend from the south arm of the transept to the boundary wall of the East courtyard and present traces of arcading. The church is virtually all that remains of the abbey founded in the 11th century which comprised a monastery of men and one of women. In 1132, it became a priory of Saint-Sulpice, of Rennes, and remained so until the end of the Ancien Régime. The convent of men has disappeared since the 14th century.
