Ce clocher du 12e siècle est le seul élément subsistant de la chapelle et de l'ancien monastère de Lochrist. Evidé par de grands arcs à la base, le clocher est plein dans sa partie haute jusqu'à hauteur d'un étage de couronnement parcé de baies jumelles. Il est surmonté d'une flèche refaite sans doute au 14e siècle.

History
This bell tower of the 12th century is the only remaining element of the chapel and the former monastery of Lochrist. Hollowed out by large arches at the base, the bell tower is solid in its upper part up to the height of a crowning storey pierced with paired openings. It is surmounted by a spire remade probably in the 14th century.
