Le couvent des Augustins, qui était le plus important de Carhaix, a été fondé en 1372 par Conan et Yves de Quélen, barons de Vieux Chastel. Le cloître était formé de deux galeries de 18 m de long, l'un sur le flanc septentrional de la chapelle, l'autre en retour à l'est, et était ouvert au nord sur un jardin ; il a été transporté aux Etats-Unis en 1930. History
The convent of the Augustinians, which was the most important in Carhaix, was founded in 1372 by Conan and Yves de Quélen, barons of Vieux Chastel. The cloister was formed of two galleries of 18 m in length, one on the northern side of the chapel, the other in return to the east, and was open to the north onto a garden; it was transported to the United States in 1930. Of the chapel, transformed for habitation use, there remains only the door registered on the Supplementary Inventory since 1931.
