The château consists of a main dwelling block whose principal façade, facing east, dates from the 16th century for its right part, and from the 17th century for its left part, a pavilion probably dating from the 15th century sheltering the main staircase, and finally a gallery, a pavilion and a wing to the north dating from 1902 and designed by the Rennes architect J.-B. Martenot with a view to harmonising the new buildings with the principal façade (major restorations from 1899 to 1902 with reused elements from the château de Cotardais at Médréac).
