Historique

History
Built in 1567 by the king's treasurer paymaster, the manor house was part of the Crenan estate. It was surrounded by an enclosure reinforced by five square towers of which traces subsist. The whole was encircled by moats. Part of the manor house was rebuilt in 1900 with the old stones (East wing). The present manor house is a reconstruction of the 17th century, dominated by the Ionic order.
