Historique
Le château ou manoir du Hac forme un bel ensemble architectural, composé de deux corps de bâtiments d'époques différentes. L'un, situé à l'ouest, construit pour Jean Hingant, familier du duc de Bretagne, date des années 1440-1448 ; l'autre, à l'est, est le vestige d'un édifice antérieur dont subsisteraient les fondations. Les façades n'ont pratiquement pas été modifiées depuis la construction. L'intérieur présente les dispositions de type français caractéristiques des réalisations architecturales du milieu ducal et a conservé de très beaux éléments qui témoignent de la qualité de cette architecture, en dépit d'une restauration un peu regrettable dans les années 1930. Le château demeure ainsi l'une des plus parfaites productions de la cour ducale, dont l'influence a persisté longtemps dans la région.

History
The castle or manor of Hac forms a fine architectural ensemble, composed of two building blocks from different periods. One, situated to the west, built for Jean Hingant, familiar of the Duke of Brittany, dates from the years 1440-1448; the other, to the east, is the remnant of an earlier building whose foundations would remain. The façades have scarcely been modified since construction. The interior presents the arrangements of French type characteristic of the architectural achievements of the ducal circle and has retained very fine elements which testify to the quality of this architecture, despite a somewhat regrettable restoration in the 1930s. The castle thus remains one of the most perfect productions of the ducal court, whose influence persisted for a long time in the region.
