Historique
Ce sanctuaire, fondation des seigneurs de Coatfrec (ou Coëtfrec), date des XVème et XVIème siècles. Il a la forme d'un tau, le vaisseau étant flanqué au nord et au sud de deux chapelles en ailes, plan classique des monuments religieux du Trégor. La nef et la chapelle nord (premier quart du XVème siècle) sont de style ogival flamboyant et la chapelle méridionale (1559) de style Renaissance. Elle fut détruite au XIVème siècle pendant la guerre de succession de Bretagne, et reconstruite au XVème siècle. La partie la plus remarquable se trouve à l'intérieur de la chapelle avec un jubé sculpté en bois polychrome de style gothique flamboyant daté de 1485. Il est loeuvre d'un atelier morlaisien. Il comprend cinq arcatures en arc brisé aigu séparées par des colonnes torsadées.

History
This sanctuary, a foundation of the lords of Coatfrec (or Coëtfrec), dates from the 15th and 16th centuries. It has the form of a tau, the nave being flanked to the north and south by two chapels in wings, a plan classical of religious monuments of the Trégor. The nave and the north chapel (first quarter of the 15th century) are of flamboyant ogival style and the southern chapel (1559) of Renaissance style. It was destroyed in the 14th century during the War of Succession of Brittany, and rebuilt in the 15th century. The most remarkable part is found inside the chapel with a rood screen sculptured in polychrome wood of flamboyant Gothic style dated 1485. It is the work of a Morlaix workshop. It comprises five pointed sharp arches separated by twisted columns.
