Historique

History
The château presents a certain unity despite the different periods of construction which span from the 13th to the end of the 19th century. It was a relatively important fief, as evidenced by four justice stones. The château was inhabited by the Kerduel until 1477. The main dwelling block, in rough-dressed granite, possesses a return wing, and was built in the 17th century. In the western extension of the north façade is a square tower, added in 1890. The return building, composed of dressed pink granite, is the oldest, dating back to the 13th century. It comprises a large square tower which houses the chamber known as "King Arthur's". The chapel presents the originality of having two storeys, a lower level for servants, an upper level for the lord of the castle, with separate entrance.
