Châtellenie érigée en bannière en 1433 puis en marquisat en 1622, le Bois de la Motte (château, motte et chapelle) se présente dans une île au milieu de l'étang qui sert de douves. Long corps de bâtiment avec pavillon plus élevé permettant l'entrée. Celui-ci a ses ouvertures laissant passer les poutres qui actionnaient l'ancien pont-levis principal.

History
Castellany erected as a banner in 1433 and then as a marquisate in 1622, the Bois de la Motte (castle, motte and chapel) is situated in an island in the middle of the pond which serves as moats. Long main building with higher pavilion allowing the entrance. This has its openings allowing the passage of the beams which operated the former main drawbridge.
