Historique

History
The barn is from the 16th century, while the main body of the main dwelling is from the late 16th century, and the right wing is from the early 17th century. The château is evidence of a return to defensive architecture prompted by the Wars of Religion. The building was supposed to form the central body in the original plan, with a staircase turret, a watch turret, and machicolations on the south gable. A second pavilion initially served as a metairie.
